According to Deadline, the Oscar nominated actor might headline the film that previously featured Michael York as the lead in a world where aging past 30 equals death.
If you’re still recovering from the news that Logan’s Run is being remade here’s another blow to your gut. According to the film’s producer Joel Silver, they plan on the feature being shot in 3D. All this time we thought Carl Rinsch was going to take on Ridley Scott’s much talked about Alien prequel but instead he’s going after another classic. According to THR, he’s signed on to direct the sci-fi flick Logan’s Run, which is based on the 1967 novel by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson. It was also adapted into a 1976 feature film that starred Michael York and Farrah Fawcett.
