While one doesn’t expect a lot of taste or tact in Hollywood, you’d think that, in making a Charles Manson biopic, you could do better than cast Lindsay Lohan as Sharon Tate, which is kind of like casting Charlie Sheen as John F. Kennedy. But since we live in a world where Lohan might actually star in the new Superman film, nothing makes sense anymore!
Alright, everyone, prepare to let loose with a collective “ewwwwwwww”: apparently, Lindsay Lohan is gunning for a role in the upcoming Zack Snyder/ Christopher Nolan reboot of Superman, The Man of Steel. And, even more distressing, she’s actually got an audition. Ok, everybody ready? Here goes:

For those of you who were waiting for Lindsay Lohan to make her big comeback in the biopic Inferno, it’s not happening. The actress is no longer attached to the project and has officially been replaced. According to Deadline, Lohan was dropped because she was impossible to insure and the producer’s already had their eye on another blond bombshell – Malin Akerman.
Over the years Danny Trejo has made a living being the scariest, meanest, most badass ‘that guy’ in Hollywood. Need a psychotic Mexican to scare the shit out of a kid? Call Trejo. Need a stand-in to remind everyone not to ever, ever fuck with a guy who rocks a horseshoe mustache (while wearing leather) unless he taps your foot underneath the stall first? Dan’s your man.
Over time, we’ve gone from being vaguely weirded out by Trejo to wanting to model expensive glassware after his asymmetrical face. He’s not just a success story. He’s the success story. I move that we just skip the pretense and admit our man-crush and speculate over what woman from his new movie Machete deserves to be his arm candy. Contestants will be judged on personality, compatibility, and their kill factor. Why kill factor? If you’re around Danny Trejo, somebody always dies, that’s why.
Machete is an old school, grind house action flick with guns, knives, and a strong political undertone. The last description doesn’t really fit but that didn’t stop Robert Rodriguez from using this trailer turned film to vocalize his disdain for U.S. immigration policies. The filmmaker has a huge bone to pick but instead of addressing Congress, he’s taking his argument to the theater!

A couple of weeks ago, Lindsay Lohan was rumored to play a porn star in an upcoming biopic based on Linda Lovelace, the woman known for her role in the famous adult film Deep Throat. On the website of professional photographer Tyler Shields, he’s published a few photos of Lohan as Lovelace that will be used for promotion of the movie. Lately, Lindsay Lohan has been in the news for all the wrong reasons but she’s still got legitimate work to do. The actress is in negotiations to star in the upcoming film by singer-songwriter Willie Nelson entitled, The Dry Gulch Kid according to EOnline. The film starts production this summer but Lohan’s participation depends on whether or not she’ll wear a court issued “fashion accessory.”
