A new 60 second TV spot has been released for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. This one is set up a little differently than the previous promos we’ve seen. Instead of giving us a glimpse of the film’s storyline, it just tells us what major characters will be featured. Whether or not I agree with the who’s who in this video is up for debate. I don’t want to spoil too much for you, so if you want to check out the video it’s available after the jump.

The final trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine has just been released! For the most part the trailer shows footage that we’ve already seen, mixed with a couple unfamiliar action sequences. There are a few shots of a young Cyclops that weren’t in the first, and more fight footage with Gambit, Deadpool, and of course Wolverine. After watching the trailer I’ve learned one important thing. Wolverine can use his claws for ANYTHING. He can open prison cells, start fires, shred trucks, and stab airplanes. It’s a bit much but this is an action movie, don’t we want some of the violence to verge on ridiculous?
Check out the trailer after the jump.

If you enjoyed Angelina Jolie in the summer action flick Wanted, you’re probably one of the many who are anticipating her latest film Salt. Jolie goes from assassin to spy in the movie, which originally had Tom Cruise attached as it’s star. Jolie will play Evelyn A. Salt, whom was previously known as Edwin when Cruise was in talks for the role. Over at USA Today, they have posted the first photos of the actress as the spy who the film’s producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura claims is “a character you never know.” Salt is directed by Phillip Noyce, and co-stars Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor. You can check out the full sized photos of Jolie in costume after the jump

The three day promotional event for X-Men Origins: Wolverine is officially over. On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night the Fox Network aired three exclusive 60 second spots promoting the first X-Men spinoff, Wolverine. After careful examination I feel that I’ve gotten a better idea of what direction the story for the film will go in. Wolverine as a comic character has a very vague, and diluted past. So many different interpretations have been made about his origin, his age, and most importantly his claws.

The more they show of this film, the more I’m convinced that this is going to be AWESOME! Yesterday we revealed a picture of Gambit and today Empire reveals two more pictures of Liev Schreiber as Victor Creed falling from who knows where and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine battling it out with Sabertooth X-Men style. They all look really impressive, from the colors to the action, it looks like we’re going to be in for a real treat with this film.
And if you’re looking for more Wolverine action, this week 20th Century Fox will be revealing three new 60-second spots of Wolverine clips on Fox. The first spot airs this Sunday (February 15) on “Family Guy,” the second on Monday (Feb. 16) on “House,” and the third on Tuesday (Feb. 17) on “American Idol.” I’m sure we’ll have them up on the site as soon as they air, so check back in with us!
Check out all three photos below…

Not long ago we posted the short version of this interview where Liev talked about his upcoming role in Wolverine. Now we have the long version for you where Liev has a chance to talk about the history and the complexity behind his role in Defiance. Although Defiance is lacking in many areas, when it comes to acting, the film is phenomenal and much of that can be attributed to Liev’s stellar performance alongside Daniel Craig and Jamie Bell.
It was such a pleasure to speak with Liev. If not only for his amazingly deep and steady voice, but also because he’s an amazing story teller. You can tell that he’s an intellectual and yet he’s definitely not afraid to get down in the dirt and have some fun.
He had some amazing insights about his soon to be wide-released film Defiance, as well as his upcoming film Wolverine and much more. Check it out below…

Over the weekend ScreenCrave had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Daniel Craig about his upcoming role in Edward Zwick’s film Defiance. Craig has obviously received a lot of recognition for his role as James Bond, but he seems more than willing to leave that all behind for a nice vacation.
Craig is in the midst of his 15 Super-God-Like minutes of fame. He was a well established actor before this and hopefully will be for some time, but it’s always odd interviewing someone in their peak of fame (notice how I don’t say success) and the reason is, they really don’t want to talk about it and Craig was no different. You could tell he was eager to help promote his film Defiance and when Bond was discussed he didn’t skirt the issue but answered it in a very honest and at times sarcastic or jovel way. You could tell from talking to him that even with his success he has not turned into a “star” but a well received hard working actor. The man is dedicated to his work and everything that comes with it.
I gained a lot of respect for him through this interview. The important thing to realize about Craig is that he is an amazing actor, he’s been involved with so many amazing films and really all he wants to do is get back to making them. He is happy to help promote, but his real talent lies in the work, not in his ability to talk about it.
So without further ado, let’s hear what he has to say…
