“Law & Order: Los Angeles” has been missing in action on the NBC roster due to the recent casting shuffle Dick Wolf put into place. He got rid of Skeet Ulrich, Regina Hall, and Megan Boone, switched around the roles of Alfred Molina and Terrence Howard, and added Alana de la Garza. Did you catch all that? According to EW, the network will bring the spin-off back into the fold next month when it returns with its new line up.

“Law & Order: Los Angeles” has been on hiatus for months, while “Law & Order: SVU” has been thriving with new episodes. Los Angeles is currently going through a revamp that includes switching around the cast and getting rid of some characters all together. One person who’s managed to survive all the hysteria is Terrence Howard. The actor plays DA Joe Dekker on LOLA, and according to TVLine, he’ll bump heads with the SVU team on an upcoming episode.

That’s a logical step that one would take but we doubt NBC sees it that way. The peacock network’s freshman drama “Law & Order: Los Angeles” is losing the majority of its cast including headliner Skeet Ulrich according to Deadline.

This week’s episode of “Law & Order: Los Angeles” centered on the wrongs of the past. Not only the wrongs of a criminal, but the mistakes of the police department who let him get away. Tempers flare when the detectives discover that a 20 year old murder case was never solved, and the public was never alerted that a serial killer was on the loose. Throw in some incest and rape, and you’ve got the latest episode entitled, “Ballona Creek.”

With a dead man in the grave, and no one to vouch for what happened between him and the accused, the L&O team have their work cut out for them.
