Over the past few weeks, the cast of Scream 4 has grown to epic proportions. Not only will the stars from the original series return (Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox) but a slew of new faces will join them. The last time we checked, Lauren Graham and Anthony Anderson were confirmed alongside Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, and Lake Bell. Oh wait, Lake Bell is no longer attached to the movie! She’s out.

Noooo!!! The two things we hate the most, Twilight and “Heroes” will taint our favorite horror franchise! According to THR, Ashley Greene and Hayden Panettiere have landed roles in Wes Craven’s Scream 4. Months ago it was reported that the film would kick-start a second trilogy with the aid of the original stars and a new group of young characters. Is Greene our new Sidney Prescott?

A trailer has been released for the upcoming Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin collaboration It’s Complicated. Writer/director Nancy Meyers takes us through a love quadrangle that features some of the best actors in Hollywood. It’s Complicated centers on the relationship of ex-spouses Jake and Jane. After 10 years of divorce they find themselves involved in a torrid affair, with each other! Jake has remarried, and Jane has oddly enough become the “other woman.” The film co-stars Steve Martin, Lake Bell, and John Krasinski. It’s distributed and produced by Universal, and will hit theaters on December 25.

Samuel L. Jackson is a great, bad-guy. From Pulp Fiction, to The Spirit, he makes evil fun. He is set to star as a bad guy again in Columbia Pictures’ remake of Berry Gordy’s 1985 cult classic The Last Dragon. The role was originally played by Julius Carr. With lines like, “Am I the baddest mofo lowdown around this town?” this role is perfect for Jackson. [THR]
Courtney Cox and “Scrubs” creator Bill Lawrence have joined forces to create a new half-hour comedy for ABC called “Cougar Town.” Cox will be starring as a newly single 40-year-old mom and exec producing the new sitcom. [Variety]
