the runaways official trailer 4 3 10 kc Interview: Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning Become The Runaways

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning transform themselves into real life rock legends Joan Jett and Cherie Currie in The Runaways. There’s no doubt about it, these two young vixens give themselves completely to the real life story of becoming of rock star by the age of 14-years-old. Both encompassed the look and the feel of these bad-ass chicks, smashing through stereotypes and being pushed to the edge of their sanity. Dressed in almost nothing, both actors leave their innocent selves behind and become real teenage rock stars.

We were able to catch up with the duo at a roundtable for the film and ask them some questions about becoming The Runways below…

eclipse3 9 10 Twilights Eclipse: The First 10 Seconds Released

The Twilight series wastes no time. They are like the daytime television of the cinema. With New Moon not that far behind us (feels like it was only last November – oh wait…), Summit already has a new 10 second clip from the soon to be released Eclipse trailer to show you and it’s full of all your favorite characters and a whole lot of drama!

Beware, if you are in the vicinity of any Twi-hards, you may want to back away from the computer for the first 6 hours that this clip is online. They have been known to cause serious harm or even death to those who try to prevent them from seeing new footage of Rob Pattison saying something painfully dramatic, Taylor Lautner with his shirt off trying to defend Bella, Kristen Stewart (yet again) torn about what to do and looking completely overcome, and some shots of pine trees from up above (why do they always have that shot in every film?)…

the yellow handkerchief movie review 24 2 10 kc The Yellow Handkerchief: Movie Review

The release of Arthur Cohn’s latest project, The Yellow Handkerchief, is the serendipitous product of what one person’s international success can maneuver. This particular individual is everyone’s favorite disaffected teen, Kristen Stewart, who stars in this Ugayan Prasad directed film. With an outstanding cast that includes both Maria Bello, William Hurt and Eddie Redmayne, The Yellow Handkerchief definitely strays from the conventional blockbuster release – but certainly holds a message worth hearing.

the yellow handkerchief 24 2 10 stewart Interview: Kristen Stewart, William Hurt, Maria Bello, Eddie Redmayne For The Yellow Handkerchief

The legendary six-time Oscar winner Arthur Cohn teamed up with British director Udayan Prasad to produce The Yellow Handkerchief, an indie drama hitting theaters nationwide this weekend. The film highlights the lives of three strangers who, through an odd series of events, end up on a road trip through post-Katrina Louisiana in search of a little livin’.

The film was shot two years ago, so it’s easy to assume that the only thing responsible for scoring it’s distribution is the international recognition of co-star Kristen Stewart, who plays Martine, a disaffected teen. Thanks, Twilight! Still, the rest of the cast is pretty stellar with William Hurt, Maria Bello, and Eddie Redmayne whom we had the privilege of sitting down with at a recent press conference.

At a recent press conference for Kristen Stewarts latest indie flick, The Yellow Handkerchief, also starring Maria Bello and William Hurt, we squeezed a little extra juice out of the actress regarding her upcoming projects.  Stewart recently exploded into prominence after her multi-million dollar success with Stephanie Meyers’ Twilight intoxicated teenage girls all over the universe. Despite the constant tsunami of vampire frenzy, Stewart was surprisingly, well, normal and willing to talk about Twilight and more.
