Normally I see a film like this and I immediately cast it off as mundane and pointless, but there is something about running into your old high school nemesis’ and having them be Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigourney Weaver that catches my attention.
You Again is all about how none of us ever, EVER get over high school even if we’ve always wanted to… if you were the nerd who go picked on or the popular kid who everyone thought would go somewhere, there’s something about that time of your life that makes you always try to leave behind but can never escape. And later in life, no matter how successful you are, the second you are faced with someone from that time of your life, you will regress and be left wondering where all your maturity went. Ladies and gentlemen. Let the subtle, under-handed, manipulative cat fights begin…

From 2004 to 2007 TV viewers experienced a resurgence of something called “the Nancy Drew” phenomenon when The CW (formally UPN) premiered the series, “Veronica Mars.” It starred Kristen Bell as the title character who spent every episode snooping and investigating the suspect activities happening in her town. “Mars” was never a mega hit for the network but it gained a serious cult following and when the show was canceled after 3 seasons fans were rightfully pissed. But no worries, there’s hope, a “Veronica Mars” movie is still on the table…

Couple’s Retreat star Kristen Bell has just signed on for a new role, and it’s in a musical. A lot of you may not know this but Veronica Mars has some serious vocal talent, and she will showcase it in an upcoming film opposite Christina Aguilera. This week the Bora Bora comedy, Couples Retreat with Jon Favreau, Vince Vaughn, Malin Akerman, Kristin Davis, Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell, Faizon Love and Kali Hawk hits theaters. With so many comedians all jam packed into one film, I’m sure you’re all looking forward to seeing your favorite actor strut their stuff in a laugh out loud comedy. Sadly, it’s not that movie. This is definitely a film that was more fun to shoot than it was to watch.

Time to get up tight and sarcastic with two of the co-stars of director Peter Billingsley’s comedy, Couples Retreat. Out of the four couples in the film, Kristen Bell and Jason Bateman are the stress filled business couple who convince their friends to go on a trip to Bora Bora to save their relationships.
I don’t know if I would consider this an interview as much as a Kristen Bell and Jason Bateman comedy sketch with all the sarcasm you could possibly shove into one conversation. Both Bell and Bateman seemed to sit down in character, ready to tackle any questions we had with a quick comeback and a power-point projector.

Director Mark Steven Johnson (Daredevil, Ghost Rider) has decided to try his hand at a rom-com starring Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel. As much as both actors are entertaining and will be fun to watch in some way or another, there is nothing unique about this film yet, aside from the fact that they’re promoting Katy Perry and Jason Mraz in their trailer. Anyone else see something odd about that?

A new trailer has been released for the upcoming CGI animated film, Astro Boy. It’s the same video that premiered at this year’s Comic-Con, and I can tell you from that experience it’s pretty awesome. The film stars Freddie Highmore, Kristen Bell, Donald Sutherland, and oddly enough Nicolas Cage. Why is he in everything lately? They’ve already released a couple of teasers for Astro Boy but this one is the real deal.

Earlier this year, there was talk about a Veronica Mars movie. The creator, Rob Thomas, was hoping to get the ball rolling, but it seems like it hit a dead end. This is a sad day for Veronica Mars fans. Creator, Rob Thomas, and Kristen Bell were on board and eager to do a film, but it seems Warner Brothers felt differently. Warner Bros decided there isn’t enough of an interest among audiences to warrant a movie.
Recently, Kristen Bell said about the possibility of a Veronica Mars movie…
