Give the people what they want, Uma! Actress Uma Thurman heard about the recent Kill Bill Vol 3 talk from writer-director Quentin Tarantino, and she’s down for the cause. A few weeks ago while overseas, Tarantino appeared on an Italian talk show where he confirmed that he was working on a third film in the series, and he stated that The Bride will fight again!

Ever since the release of Kill Bill Volume 2, director Quentin Tarantino has been dishing out ideas for the third installment of the series. The most common pitches he threw out had to do with the orphaned daughter of Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox) and her plan to exact revenge on The Bride for killing her mother. Tarantino was recently on an Italian TV show, where he announced that there would be a Kill Bill 3, and the Bride will fight again.

Channing Tatum’s latest film Fighting will hit theaters. It’s a film by Dito Montiel, who also directed the actor in the 2006 indie drama A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints. The story focuses on a young man who hustles and participates in underground street fights to score extra cash. After watching the aggressive trailer for the flick I began thinking about some of my favorite fight films and how this one would compare.
