Though The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 doesn’t feature the wrap up of the series, it does get to something the series has been building to since day one: Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) finally putting their desires to bed. And for the couple it is literally a bed-breaking event, one that leads to pregnancy. As a film Breaking Dawn Part 1 classes up the joint by adding Oscar winning writer-director Bill Condon to the mix, but for those hoping for something that might rise above the material, they’re going to be sorely disappointed. For the fans, it’s likely everything they want.

For Love, Wedding, Marriage, Mandy Moore plays a psychatrist whose marriage (with Kellan Lutz) falls apart as does her parents (Jane Seymour, James Brolin). Tarsem Singh‘s latest The Immortals (Due November 11) follows in the footprints of Clash of the Titans by using the Greek Gods and semi-Gods as its protagonists. And with the posters listing only the producers of 300, they’re also trying to connect with that gigantic hit. We’ve known for a while that Universal is planning a prequel/spin-off to their highly successful Jason Bourne franchise, but they’ve yet to find an actor to play the lead. According to several sources, director and screenwriter Tony Gilroy has cast a very wide net on potential candidates for the primary role in The Bourne Legacy. Last week news broke that Twilight alums Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene’s futures were uncertain for the series’ final installment, Breaking Dawn. Apparently, the actors were holding out on signing their contracts in order to get a pay raise from Summit Entertainment. At the time, we weren’t sure how things would play out but according to THR, Emmett and Alice will be back for the sequel.

With the first three Twilight movies the production schedule went like clockwork. The actors shot the films back to back with no problem but a lot has changed in the past two years. The creepy vampire series has become a phenomenon making its stars overnight sensations so we’re not surprised to hear that a few of them (Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene) are asking for a pay raise.
