As you can tell it’s a period piece due to the wardrobe and the fact that Knightley is in it. Aren’t 90 percent of her movies period pieces? Check out the photos below…

The Wrap is reporting that Greenberg director Noah Baumbach has signed on to replace Ron Howard as the director of The Emperor’s Children, an adaptation of Claire Messud’s 2006 novel. Howard has opted instead to produce the film with his frequent collaborator,Brian Grazer.
The insanity surrounding Captain America continues to get grow with the latest batch of rumors surrounding the film. Multiple sources are reporting that Channing Tatum is now up for the role of Steve Rogers, and Keira Knightley, Emily Blunt, and She’s Out Of My League star Alice Eve could appear as his female lead. I knew his name would pop up in this race sooner or later.
We get so used to see Hollywood stars like Rachel Weisz, Jude Law, Keira Knightley on the big screen that sometimes we forget that they actually take their acting abilities and apply them… on stage! Seems like they’re doing well because all of the above mentioned celebs along with James Earl Jones and Melanie Chisholm aka Mel C of the Spice Girls, were among the nominees listed for Britain’s Laurence Olivier theater awards.
We knew this would happen sooner or later. It looks like the remake of the 1964 George Cukor classic, My Fair Lady has gained momentum. Keira Knightley was rumored to star as the lead character in the new version of the film forever, and according to The Telegraph, she has officially won the role of Eliza Doolittle and beat out Scarlett Johannson to do it.
Looks like Ocasr-winning writer William Monaham has added a few more jewels to his crown (aka A-listers to his film). According to RopeofSilicon three more British actors have just been added to the cast in the form of Ray Winstone (above), Anna Friel, and David Thewlis.
The above video is a PSA for the UK charity Women’s Aid shot by Atonement director Joe Wright. The video stars Keira Knightley, and follows her as she wraps after a day on set. She arrives at her apartment to find blood, shattered glass and her estranged boyfriend waiting for her. From that point on she is viciously attacked while the camera pulls back from the scene and a tag line appears that reads, “Isn’t it time someone called cut?” I think the ad was done very well, but some people think it’s too graphic. Do you agree?
