The first trailer has been released for Summit Entertainment’s comic adaptation, Red. New Zealand actor and Star Trek alum Karl Urban has landed another gig. According to THR, the actor has been cast in the Scott Stewart adaptation of Priest. He will star as the bad guy opposite Paul Bettany and Cam Gigandet. This news comes pretty late in the game considering production on the film starts next week! More on Priest below.

Paramount just released the latest trailer for this summer’s upcoming prequel, Star Trek. If your one of the lucky ones who’ve already seen Watchmen, the trailer debuts in front of the film. In my opinion this one is a lot better than the first. You get to see a lot more footage, and gain some insight into how Kirk became the captain of the Enterprise. The thing I like the most is how they change the image of Spock. I wasn’t a fan of the angry version they showed the first time around. It just threw me off.

Over the weekend the new Star Trek trailer was released before Quantum of Solace and we posted a fairly crappy, boot-legged version of the film. Well now you don’t have to settle for less.
Looks like this one is sexier, more dramatic, and has MUCH bigger explosions.
