The trailer for the latest Roman Polanski film Carnage has hit, and it promises claustrophobia for its stars Jodie Foster, Kate Winslett, John C. Reilly and Christoph Waltz. The film – adapted from the play by Yasmina Riza – takes place in Foster and Reilly’s apartment one night when two sets of parents have a discussion about a violent incident that happened between their children, and it escalates from there. There’s something to be said that only the Beastie Boys could bring out Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood, Jack Black, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Ted Danson, Stanley Tucci, Susan Sarandon and many more famous people for what appears to be a very funny goof on the history of the Band. McBride, Wood and Rogen play younger versions of the band, with Reilly, Ferrell and Black the older iterations. How this all works out is unknown, but the trailer is here for Fight For Your Right – Revisited, and it is great. Check it out…

Miguel Arteta’s latest film Cedar Rapids takes bits and pieces from his previous projects and rolls them all into one. There are some elements of “The Office” with Ed Helms, a bit of The Good Girl with John C. Reilly, and some awkward and sometimes dark humor like seen in Youth in Revolt. Rapids is set in a small town at a convention and it magnifies the seedy underbelly of the insurance world.

The Extra Man premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival’s largest venue to fairly solid reviews (check out our Sundance Review). It is the story of idealists who exist just outside of the commonly accepted reality of New York City, who come together to find themselves and accept one another. It’s somewhat of a hard pitch to sell, but luckily the lead performances make it worthwhile.

Do NOT be deceived by this box office hungry trailer: Jonah Hill will perform sans Judd Appatow flare and John C. Riley offers more than half-nude tomfoolery. That being said, Fox Searchlight Pictures presents Cyrus written and directed by the Duplass brothers. Hill, Riley, and the always fabulous Marissa Tomei comprise the quirky trio that will leave you both slightly charmed and slightly confused.

John C. Reilly lights up the screen with another amazing character in the Duplass Brothers, Mark and Jay’s first big Hollywood film Cyrus. The film premiered at Sundance Film Festival (read review) and blew everyone away with it’s free spirit and unique characters. In the film Reilly pushes himself to a new level of improvisation which he fought against at first and comes out on top. Find out about what it’s like to when the Duplass Brothers go Hollywood…
