After the second film – which star Shia LaBeouf and director Michael Bay have publicly apologized for -there was hope that Transformers: Dark of the Moon would settle Michael Bay down, and give him a better story to tell. Working with 3-D, his hyper-editing style wouldn’t work in the format, and there would be no “afterthought” Imax scenes. There would also be no writer’s strike, so the script could be written in a more timely and coherent fashion. And though Michael Bay does action on a scale that is unmatached in the industry, it’s pretty much the same movie, except this time on Ritalin. Find out more below…

RED MOVIE REVIEW: This weekend in theaters the old gang gets back together in RED to perform the ultimate heist — meaning a bunch of well known actors got paid to shoot a bunch of giant runs in nice clothing. Overall this is very much the film you think it’s going to be; it’s has plenty of funny jokes, moves right along, there’s a lot great actors saying cheesy lines that through anyone else’s mouth would make you cringe and a very thin but easy to watch story.

Secretariat, the story of the horse that just couldn’t be stopped despite no on thinking he could become anything, is racing into theaters this week to make you cry… and cheer! With tons of great action and cheesy lines, the film is exactly what you would expect from a “horse film” but with the added bonuses including a great story and the lovely Diane Lane and the slightly crazy John Malkovich.

Lane is both charming and fierce, so that you side with her and fight along with her when necessary. Malkovich once again makes acting crazy look easy — and this time he gets colorful hats to add to it!
