Few things make a reunion tour less appealing as the passing of a key member, and Monty Python – much like The Beatles after John Lennon was assassinated – have done little together as a group since Graham Chapman died of cancer in 1989. Much of the cast have worked together since, but the only time the five living members got together was for an appearance in 1998 at the Aspen Comedy Festival. But now, according to Variety, Terry Jones has roped together the group to voice aliens in his upcoming movie Absolutely Anything.

Winnie the Pooh is Walt Disney’s second most recognizable character (behind Mickey Mouse), but he hasn’t had much of a big screen presence since the 1970′s. Though there were attempts to take him to the big screen since then (Piglet had his own movie), Disney has gone back to basics of the A.A. Milne stories, and made a feature length return-to-form feature for the character. The big question is: will this also play for parents? The answer is yes. Find out more below.

Another Shrek, another chance to see your favorite animated characters and another chance to be reminded of the genius that was the first film, without this being the first film. The problem with this entire series is that it started with a bang, fell to a whimper, and with it’s grand finale is simply enough to make up for how much it’s lost without really ever wow-ing us. Shrek Forever After is a good movie, they were creative in finding a way to make the characters fresh again, and there were definitely enough laughs in it to leave me satisfied, BUT it wasn’t without a few problems. But lets starts at the top…

After forty years, all six members of the British comedy troupe Monty Python will reunite! I don’t know why I have to write this post with such enthusiasm, but it just feels right. We all knew this milestone was approaching and there has been much hype surrounding the fortieth celebration. According to the NYTimes, the original members of the group will come together for an anniversary event in New York. More on the story below.
