Forbes list of top earning actors has just come out and Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are the two top grossing actresses in Hollywood from June 2008-2009. Jolie slipped slightly above Aniston, raking in $27 million dollars for Wanted and Salt, and Aniston’s managed to make $25 million for Marley and Me, The Baster, and of course, “Friends” reruns.
Although all of this sounds amazing, none of them are making near the same amount as top grossing male actors. Harrison Ford made $65 million and Adam Sandler made $55 million for the same year. Which begs the question, what the hell do leading ladies in this town have to do to make that kind of money?
Vote it our poll below and let us know if you think these numbers are fair…

This is some news that I’m actually excited about. SNL star Jason Sudeikis, has been cast in a feature film opposite Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston. The reason I’m happy about this is because I think Sudeikis is just as funny as Bill Hader or Andy Samberg but he doesn’t get nearly as much attention. According to THR the actor/comedian will star in the upcoming romantic comedy Bounty Hunter.

Feel like crying? Sure you do! Check out the new trailer for Love Happens, starring Aaron Eckhart and Jennifer Aniston and get some tears filling up those eyes!
Love Happens is about a self-help author (Eckhart) whose wife has died and he spends his life helping others. When he arrives in Seattle to teach a sold-out seminar, he unexpectedly meets the one person (Aniston) who might finally be able to help him help himself. It’s a bit cheesy, but go with it for a minute.
Check out the poster, photos, and trailer below…

The Jennifer Aniston comedy The Baster just got a whole lot better thanks to the addition of two new cast members. I was already on board when I learned that Aniston would star opposite the hilarious Jason Bateman. That guys been doing comedy since he was a kid, so what’s not to love? According to Variety, Watchmen alum Patrick Wilson and “Mr. Welcome to Jurassic Park” Jeff Goldblum have also signed on for roles in the film.

I’ve had enough of these wild Bond girl rumors people! First we’re told that Freida Pinto is being considered for a Bond girl, and now quite possibly the most unlikely actress in the world is up for the role. Who the hell sees Jennifer Aniston as a Bond girl?

Loading ...
According to the Inquisitr, “Jennifer has all the qualities we are looking for in a Bond girl. She has to be beautiful but she also needs to have brains,” according to a source at the movie production company. “It helps if she’s athletic and able to keep up with intense stunt work a Bond movie demands.”

Jennifer Aniston will be starring in Stephen Belber’s new romantic comedy Management. She plays Sue Claussen, a cheap art dealer, who finds herself in a love triangle between her rich boyfriend played by Woody Harrelson and Steve Zahn’s sweet but underachieving assistant motel manager. Will Aniston ever find true love?
It looks like a typical rom-com, but more extreme. “Extreme” here means “physical stunts.” I wasn’t too impressed with the first half of the trailer; Steven Zahn asking to touch someone’s butt is almost as bad as Jennifer Aniston agreeing to let Steve Zahn touch her butt. Also, Steve Zahn playing an underachiever? That’s hardly groundbreaking. The same could be said about Aniston’s character… she rarely steps outside the girl-next-door-object-of-affection sort of role.
Still, it looks sweet, and that crazy Dr. Seuss-esque bicycle might make it worth seeing…

The feature film adaptation of Walter Kirn’s novel, Up in the Air has become the tale of two Jason’s. According to Variety, Jason Reitman is attached to direct the Dreamworks film about “a corporate downsizer who is obsessed with collecting frequent flyer miles at the expense of having a life.” This no life having downsizer will be played by none other than George Clooney, with Jason Bateman co-starring as his boss.

Jennifer Aniston and one of my favorite actors Jason Bateman are teaming up for a new romantic comedy called, The Baster. Yeah, it sounds kind of gross, but it has a funny premise. According to Variety, Aniston and Bateman will co-star in this “fertility based” comedy about a woman who seeks professional help in order to get pregnant. Bateman plays her best friend who interferes with the insemination process, and ends up becoming an unexpected complication in her pregnancy.

Marley and Me hits theaters everywhere Christmas Day. As some of you may know from my review, I think this is a good film, but by no means a kids film like it’s being advertised. Luckily ScreenCrave had a chance to join a press conference with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson to talk about these issues and more.
Both actors started off the interview a bit withheld, but who could blame them. They’ve both been the victim of tabloid scrutiny for some time now. Bottom line, they’re both good actors who did really great work in this film. They were both charming and more than happy to talk about the film, their success, and even how they feel about the marketing of the film.
So check it out below and decide for yourself if Marley and Me is the film for you…
