Time to sit down to a dinner with some of the most interesting group of Schmucks ever seen on screen. Well-known comedic director Jay Roach brings us an adaptation of the French film Le Diner de Cons, or as he’s interpreted it Dinner with Schmucks. There’s no doubt that this all star comedic cast will have you laughing, even if it makes you a schmuck for doing so.

Yet another clip has just arrived for Dinner for Schmucks, the upcoming film starring the comedic cast of Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Bruce Greenwood, Ron Livingston, Zach Galifianakis and the sex god Jemaine Clement. Despite the change in the release date, the film is actually quite funny and filled with a lot of heart. The main reason why it works is a mixture of Rudd and Carell who both come off as genuine, despite the ridiculous characters around them which are all played by an extremely strong supporting cast.

From the creative minds that brought you Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre comes another film about the underdog getting his just desserts. The world created within Gentlemen Broncos centers on a tale of two writers, one established and published and the other an awkward teen with an overactive imagination. Although their on opposite sides of the spectrum, their lives will intertwine because of one story and one character named, Bronco.

This weekend, audiences will have an opportunity to see Jemaine Clement like they’ve never seen him before, as an asshole writer. He stars in the new Jared Hess comedy Gentlemen Broncos, in which he takes on the voice, the hair, and the high waist jeans of Dr. Ronald Chevalier. The good doctor is a washed up sci-fi/fantasy author who steals a hapless teenager’s work and tries to push it off as his own. With a role like that how could he not be interested?
In our one on one interview with Clement not only did we discuss his work in Broncos, but his hit comedy series Flight of the Conchords, his character in the upcoming animated feature Despicable Me, and the one person in Hollywood he considers his comedic idol.

The poster for Gentlemen Broncos a new comedy by Napolean Dynamte director Jared Hess, starring one half of The Flight of the Conchords duo, Jemaine Clement has just premiered over on FirstShowing and it looks incredible. With the simple handmade touch that Hess has become known for and Clemente’s dead-pan stare, this looks like it might be yet another big hit.
