This weekend the semen comedy of the year, The Switch starring the easy-going Jennifer Aniston and “baby-faced-man-boy” Jason Bateman hits theaters. It’s a bit of the twist on the usual love story it’s ultimately, just another funny enough, easy to watch, rom-com. Luckily it does have a few qualities that will make your time in the theater worthwhile (provided you have popcorn and preferably a drink or five beforehand).

Veteran actor Jeff Goldblum is done with the USA series, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.” After a two season run as lead detective he’s out according to a report from Variety. What’s the reason behind his decision? Common sense! While NBC’s picked up “Special Victims Unit” and the freshman series “Law & Order: Los Angeles,” USA’s twiddling their thumbs with “Criminal Intent,” therefore Goldblum is a goner!

With the sad news of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson‘s deaths, the Internets started a series of death pranks with Rick Astley, Natalie Portman and of course Jeff Goldblum. Well, Goldblum decided to clear up the rumors by reporting his own own death on The Colber Report. He says it best when he says “I will be missed.”

***Update: Jeff Goldblum Confirms His Own Death on the Colbert Report***
Jeff Goldblum is not dead.
Rumors hit the ‘net Thursday afternoon that New Zealand Police were reporting that actor Jeff Goldblum had fallen to his death on the set of a new movie. Thankfully, the report turned out to be an Internet hoax.
Police National Head Quarters in New Zealand told 3 News they knew nothing about the claims and have not had any reports of such an incident in Northland. They say similar rumors were circulating six to eight weeks ago and believe it’s false information.
The New Zealand Film Commission also told 3 News that they are unaware of Jeff Goldblum currently filming anything in the country. He’s not.

The Jennifer Aniston comedy The Baster just got a whole lot better thanks to the addition of two new cast members. I was already on board when I learned that Aniston would star opposite the hilarious Jason Bateman. That guys been doing comedy since he was a kid, so what’s not to love? According to Variety, Watchmen alum Patrick Wilson and “Mr. Welcome to Jurassic Park” Jeff Goldblum have also signed on for roles in the film.
