If you’re a fanboy, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg’s latest film was made specifically for you. The comedy duo have reunited for the Comic-Con inspired road trip movie Paul, which centers on an alien who falls into the laps of two unsuspecting sci-fi geeks on their way to the annual comic convention. Over on Empire, they’ve premiere two new photos from the film, one of which features co-star and “Saturday Night Live” regular Bill Hader. Take a look…

Last night, “Glee” returned from its short break (okay, one week, but it felt like a long time) not just with a new episode, but with the show’s highly anticipated take on cult horror classic “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Last night’s episode has a lot of hype and expectations to live up to and only partly succeeded. After the sweet and simple “Duets” episode, this special tribute definitely shook things up, but was it a little overkill?
Let’s discuss…

Another only so-so week for “Glee.” The group seems to be becoming unpopular onscreen and if it doesn’t get its act together possibly off screen. The first season may have been a blow up phenomenon but this season has left quite a bit to be desired. Though there definitely were some highlights to last nights show and of course another great Sue Sylvester moment.
Check out the good and the bad below…

Over the past few days there have been a lot of rumors surrounding “Glee” star Jane Lynch and whether or not she’ll host “Saturday Night Live.” Apparently, the actress had no idea that she landed the gig and was notified via her “Glee” boss Ryan Murphy about her new hosting duties. And when she finally found out what the hell was going on she was ecstatic!

Jane Lynch may be the queen of mean at the moment but Carol Burnett was playing a bitch back when the actress was still in diapers. The combination of these two sounds dangerous but the Fox network isn’t scared one bit. Apparently Burnett is in talks to guest star on an episode of “Glee” next season as none other than Sue Sylvester’s mother! Dun! Dun! Dun!

Another Shrek, another chance to see your favorite animated characters and another chance to be reminded of the genius that was the first film, without this being the first film. The problem with this entire series is that it started with a bang, fell to a whimper, and with it’s grand finale is simply enough to make up for how much it’s lost without really ever wow-ing us. Shrek Forever After is a good movie, they were creative in finding a way to make the characters fresh again, and there were definitely enough laughs in it to leave me satisfied, BUT it wasn’t without a few problems. But lets starts at the top…

If you’re one of the millions of Gleeks who watched the return of Fox’s musical hit “Glee” last night you saw magic happen. We’re not talking about the usual song and dance routines, we’re referring to Jane Lynch’s hard as nails cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester striking a pose to Madonna‘s classic, “Vogue.” Her rendition included an exact replica of the iconic music video and it was amazing. Take a look…

The upcoming Greg Motolla comedy Paul will be a must see for next year. The film is led by frequent collaborators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, who are supported by the likes of Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, and Jane Lynch. If that’s not a winning combination, I don’t know what is. Over at Collider they’ve posted the first real image of Pegg and Frost in character from the film, and for the actors it looks like the production was a hair-raising experience.
Check out the first photo from Paul…
