A huge batch of photos from Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are have popped up online. The film is based on the Maurice Sendak children’s book of the same name, and centers on the adventures of a little boy and a group of wild yet friendly creatures. The film stars Max Records as the main character, and features the voice talents of James Gandolfini, Forest Whitaker, Catherine O’Hara, and Lauren Ambrose.
Take a look at some of the wild photos…

We just received more beautiful character posters for Spike Jonze’s upcoming masterpieces Where the Wild Things Are. We were just discussing Jonze’s choice to use men in suits rather than CGI and how that choice helped in creating the magic and beauty behind the film, and these posters are a perfect example of that. When you look at the close up of The Bull above, you can see how tactile the hair feels and how piercing the eyes are. The whole thing could be a painting.
Below are five new posts including, Paul Dano as “Alexander,” Chris Cooper as “Douglas,” Forest Whitaker as “Ira,” Michael Berry Jr. as “The Bull,” and another shot of James Gandolfini as “Carol.”
Check them out now in our gallery…

It seems as if the speculation for a Sopranos movie is starting to get serious. A number of cast members have all stated that a screenplay is in the works! According to Cinemablend, Sopranos star Lorraine Bracco stated, “We’ve all talked to [series creator] David [Chase] to give him a kick in the booty to get [the screenplay] right.” She also clarified the rumors on whether or not James Gandolfini’s the one holding up the process.

Look it’s more Obama posters! Wait, that’s James Gandolfini as General Miller, Tom Hollander as the lost and in need of guidance Development Minister, and Peter Capaldi as one of the foul-mouthed spin doctor Malcolm Tucker for their upcoming political film by Armando Iannucci called In the Loop. Hmmm… Interesting take. It will be interesting to see what they have to say, about the start 21-century politics with Obama now in office. Obviously, they’re integrating the present into the films marketing, although I’m not sure if the film includes the present. But we’ll see!

You may have heard the noise surrounding Kevin Smith’s upcoming studio film entitled A Couple of Dick’s. I liked that title but it is no longer with us. Even though it’s an obvious play on words, the film is now being called A Couple of Cops. Boo!!! Smith will direct Bruce Willis and 30 Rock alumni Tracy Morgan as the two leads. It looks as if their sticking to that odd couple format. I can already see Morgan as the wild and obnoxious wild card, while Willis will be the veteran who does everything by the book. Oh, the jokes that will ensue!

Is this another pointless hostage film? Well, I like hostage films if they’re well made, they’re worth your time. So, what does this one have going for it? It has the amazing cast of Denzel Washington, John Travolta, and my favorite James Gandolfini, lead by Tony Scott, a man that knows his way around an action film. It was written by Brian Helgeland, the man who brought us Mystic River, L.A. Confidential, and many more. So, I think this definitely has a lot of potential for a high-class action film.
The story is about armed men (lead by Travolta) who hijack a subway train in NY and demand of a hefty ransom from a simply civil servant (Denzel Washington). As the authorities (lead by James Gandolfini) try to negotiate the hijackers try to create a plan to get away. Of course, Travolta and Washington bound at develop a unique relationship which I’m sure helps them both through rough times.
