The film features Watchmen’s Jackie Earle Haley taking over the iconic role of child killer Freddy Krueger, and he’s gearing up to scare a new generation of fans. The film’s latest poster just debuted on MySpace and it features the character in his true form.
This year we’ll see the release of Platinum Dunes and Samuel Bayer‘s take on A Nightmare on Elm Street. Unlike a lot of remakes, especially from the horror genre, this movie doesn’t bother me as much as the rest. From the little that we’ve seen the film will take a cue from the original 1984 version, which was a genuine horror masterpiece.
