Over the past year there’s been a lot of development talk about the land surrounding the historical Hollywood sign that sits on the hills overlooking the city. Governer Schwarzenegger declared that thanks to a last minute donation from Playboy founder Hugh Hefner it will remain in tact and won’t become a restaurant, a mall, or any other random attraction that would take away from the city’s trademark.

Every now and again, established film directors like to helm commercials for major companies and their products. In this case Brett Ratner (Rush Hour, X-Men: The Last Stand) moonlighted from his daily routine to direct Hugh Hefner in one of the many popular ads for the video game, Guitar Hero 5.

It’s been a while since I went to a theater to watch what could categorical be considered a teen-sex comedy, but I decided to give this one a shot. Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore make their directorial debuts with this month’s Miss March. A comedy that focuses on a young man who awakens from a four year coma, to discover that his once virginal girlfriend is now a Playboy centerfold. Cregger and Moore not only directed, but they also wrote the screenplay and star in the film.
If your a fan of the IFC sketch comedy show, The Whitest Kids U’Know then your already familiar with it’s cast-members Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore. These two have decided to take a hiatus from their regularly scheduled program to make the jump to the big screen. This month they will appear in the R-rated comedy Miss March, a film that was directed and co-written by both Cregger and Moore. This movie could be considered the typical teenage sex comedy, but these two see it as so much more. The multi-talented comedic actors want to make it perfectly clear that this is no American Pie or Road Trip.
