When you have a film with  Sam Worthington, Helen Mirren, Tom Wilkinson, Ciaran Hinds, Jessica Chastain and Martin Csokas you expect it to hit theaters. When it’s directed by Shakespeare in Love‘s John Madden, and written by Mathew Vaughn and Jane Goldman it seems like something of a powehouse. And yet The Debt has sat around for at least a year. Festival screenings can kill anything. Though this may had to do with Miramax (the film’s home) being scuttled by Walt Disney studios. Take a look at the trailer…

Recently we sat down to a press conference with Russell Brand, Helen Mirren, Greta Gerwig, director Jason Winer, Writer Peter Baynham for their latest film Arthur. The press conference was quite long, so we do not have the whole thing for you, instead we’re focusing in on the main attraction, the man who can’t stop himself from a humorous and promotional monologue, Russell Brand (with a few fun lines from Dame Helen Mirren).

Brand’s answers are long and he’s easily distracted by things like… actually he’s distracted by just about anything that pops into his head — but, he knows how to promote a film and get to the heart of everything. So bare with him (us) we’ll get there together. At least he makes the journey fun!

The film stars Russell Brand as the title character, and Helen Mirren and Jennifer Garner as two very important women in his life. Well if you want to watch a pretty photo shoot about Shakespeare with new spins on the old-fashioned, I guess you should see The Tempest. If you’re expecting it to be anything more than something aesthetically pleasing you’re barking up the wrong tree.
