Alec Baldwin is ready to take a leave of absence from “30 Rock” to tackle some aliens in Men in Black 3. According to Pajiba, Baldwin, Sharlto Copley, Gemma Arterton and Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Sherzinger have all been cast in the upcoming sequel. Over the weekend a report surfaced regarding Ridley Scott’s upcoming Alien prequel. According to Digital Spy, the director has his eye on Gemma Arterton to star as the female lead in the latest installment of the sci-fi series. Does this mean that her character will be a complete rip off of Sigourney Weaver’s Ellen Ripley? We’re not sure but we do know that Scott was impressed by Arterton’s performance in The Disappearance of Alice Creed.

Who the hell is Tamara Drewe? The name has generated a lot of buzz over the past few months because it’s the title of a feature film starring former Bond Girl Gemma Arterton. Jake Gyllenhaal is a great actor but his talent is completely wasted on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. If I could describe the film in one word it would be “boring.” This is supposed to be a blockbuster summer action flick and even though it’s being released at the right time, has the right producer (Jerry Bruckheimer), and the right studio backing it (Disney), it gets it all wrong!
