The red carpet at the Academy Awards is always a fashion mecca in terms of designers collaborating with the stars. But here we want to try and focus on the hype surrounding the films not just the fashion. Here are a few quotes from some of the actresses who are present at tonight’s ceremony.

Freida Pinto from Slumdog Millionaire spoke about how amazing it feels to be at the biggest event in American cinema. “This is the happiest moment ever, because all nine of  us are here. It’s wonderful to have everyone back together in one big Slumdog family.” As for her thoughts on the film’s possible win for Best Picture she stated, “We’re not going to be thinking about that right now, because it’s really, really nerve-racking.  Fingers crossed for whatever happens.”
