Oliver Stone returns to the big screen with the long awaited sequel to his 1980s hit Wall Street. Money Never Sleeps takes place during the 2008 recession and follows a new and younger group of Wall Street traders. The film doesn’t try to copy the original as much as you might think. Yes, there’s the mentoring of an up and comer by a devious veteran but it also tackles the politics and corruption present in the new millennium. Money Never Sleeps opens a whole new bag of worms.

Over at Empire they’ve premiered the international teaser poster for Richard Kelly‘s upcoming thriller, The Box. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on November 9th in the U.S., and December 4th in the U.K. The Box stars Cameron Diaz, James Marsden, and Oscar nominee Frank Langella as the man without a face. Just kidding, that’s not his character’s name, even though it would be fitting.

We were lucky enough to find a few photos of stars Shia Labeouf and Frank Langella on set, with Stone giving them some insightful direction. Labeouf is dressed to the nines in modern business attire, while Langella looks like he escaped from a mental institution. Seriously…

  • Frank Langella (pictured above) is back! The Oscar nominated actor is in talks to play Lewis Zabel, an old-time broker who mentors Shia LaBeouf‘s character, a young Wall Street broker in Oliver Stone‘s Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps.  (Variety)
  • Since John Hamburg’s film I Love You, Man will be released on DVD on August 11th, Comingsoon.net has posted an interview with the director on their site. The helmer spills the beans on his upcoming project, Little Fockers with Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller. (ComingS0on)
