The one thing thing that Harry Potter and Twilight have in common besides Robert Pattinson is money. Both are bonafide franchises with dedicated fanbases and lucrative merchandising deals, but how much of it do the stars cash in on? Vanity Fair has compiled a list of the top money makers from 2009 and Daniel Radcliffe, Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart all made the cut.
This past summer Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hit theaters and made quite a bit of money. It’s no surprise that the last book in the series from which the films are based has been split in two. Since the announcement that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be broken up, fans everywhere have been trying to figure out at what point the split will happen. Pretty sure this is a big fat f-ing rumor. I wouldn’t even write anything up about this because I’m 99% positive it’s fake, but there are whispers around the web and just in case I thought we should mention it. The rumor is that Emma Watson, better known from the Harry Potter series as Hermione Granger was killed in car accident last night. The reported started by YouTube via the website vmecritical.com (which I recommend not visiting unless you want to be spammed for life.

Although people have been wondering when Harry Potter star Emma Watson would star in something more her age, no one was expecting the latest news, which is that she may be starring, in the musical Cinderella by Marilyn Manson. What? Imagine sweet Watson dancing around in some skimpy Cinderella costume to Manson’s orders.
Through the years we have watched the three stars of the Harry Potter movies grow up. Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermoine), and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), all went from little kids fighting over wizardry to saving people, going on dates, and doing all sorts of normal, teenager activities. It seems like only now that their maturity so noticeable. We thought it would be fun to see how these stars have grown since the first movie came out in 2001 until the present day, so we made a huge gallery charting them from Sorcerer’s Stone in 2001 to todays Half-Blood Prince.

When the popular Harry Potter franchise first started, all of the child actors were complete unknowns. Over the years, the world has watched them evolve from cute little kids into seemingly well-adjusted young adults. There is something magical about this trio, they have all avoided crotch shots, pictures of them puking outside of bars, DUIs and the rest of that nonsense. Not only that, but they have all evolved into a talented group of actors who might actually have a chance at a career. With the end of the series quickly approaching, the question is, will they be able to transform from child stars into working adult actors?

Warner Brothers just sent over two new clips from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The first one is of Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), Hermoine (Emma Watson), and Ginny (Bonnie Wright) all trying to find out what’s inside Harry’s new book, which asks “Who is the Half-Blood Prince?” The second clip involves Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter) shooting out of the sky and yelling “I Killed Sirius Black”and then tricking the Harry and Ginny into a sticky situation. How will they ever get out (again)!
Now, you should know my opinion on clips by now. I think you should just wait for the movie so that there are as many surprises as possible. BUT! If nothing can spoil it for you and you need a Potter fix, check out the two new clips below…
Although, we’re only months away from seeing Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in theaters, it seems as if the cast and crew are busy working away on the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. Not long ago, photos of a Shell Cottage that was built for Deathly Hallows, were released, and now it seems like everyone has showed up to start filming at the cottage.

Not my favorite title, but so excited for the movie! Is anyone else a little pissed off that we’re not getting any Potter with our Turkey dinner this year? It sure looks like it’s ready to go!
