The insanity surrounding Captain America continues to get grow with the latest batch of rumors surrounding the film. Multiple sources are reporting that Channing Tatum is now up for the role of Steve Rogers, and Keira Knightley, Emily Blunt, and She’s Out Of My League star Alice Eve could appear as his female lead. I knew his name would pop up in this race sooner or later.
The Wolfman is a remake of the popular horror classic that was produced by Universal over 60 years ago. Instead of capitalizing on a more contemporary adaptation of the character the studio decided to stick with the old plot and feel of the original. This includes the overseas location and time period, accompanied by plenty of blood and gore. This film could have been an amazing revamp of its predecessor but the excessive violence and unnecessary bloodshed ruins it all.
Emily Blunt, who was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in The Young Victoria, is going to have a little face time with a few moviegoers in Los Angeles tonight. She will be having a Q&A session after the 7:15 screening of her film, The Young Victoria, at the Grove in Los Angeles on Thursday, January 14. She will, presumably, be answering questions about her role in the film, her experience filming, or anything else the audience decides to throw her way. If you are in the greater Los Angeles area, you can purchase tickets on the Grove website for the screening.

Be warned, it’s intended for French audiences (hence the subtitles) but have no fear, the entire trailer is in English. A new poster has debuted for Universal’s remake of the classic horror film, The Wolf Man. For the most part this poor movie has been getting the raw end of the stick thanks to the constant shuffle of its release date. It looks like the studio is trying to give it some decent marketing due to the recently released trailer and photos, and now here’s another poster. It features co-star Emily Blunt and she looks terrified!

Oh Wolf Man, what will your fate be? At the moment it seems to be undetermined. People don’t know whether to love you or loath you. I guess that’s why Universal decided it’s time for a new, action-packed, sexy, trailer for Joe Johnston’s upcoming action thriller The Wolf Man starring Benicio del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, Hugo Weaving, and Art Malik. They’ve definitely cut out the haunting, subtle feel that the first trailer had and went for a much more in your face action trailer. I’m guessing this one is aimed at all the teens out their they’re hoping to rope in.

Television is going to the movies with Matt Damon — how sweet is that? According to the The Hollywood Reporter, Lost actor Daniel Dae Kim and Mad Men’s John Slattery will join Damon in the George Nolfi-helmed sci-fi romance The Adjustment Bureau.
