In theaters now is the action-packed, political, intelligent, thrill-ride of the fall, Fair Game, with Sean Penn and Naomi Watts. Director Doug Liman managed to break the boundaries of normal film-making and create something that not only entertains and informs audiences but also has an impact on their lives. This is one of those films that cannot be missed because it effects you, right now, today.

Two-time Academy Award winner Sean Penn is already circling a new project and guess what? It’s a drama. According to Variety, the thespian is nearing a deal to star in Fair Game. Penn is being courted to play Ambassador Joseph Wilson, the husband of a C.I.A. agent who inadvertently compromises his wife’s career. The wife in question is Valerie Plame Wilson whom Penn’s 21 Grams co-star Naomi Watts is set to play. Ambassador Wilson wrote op-ed columns that accused the Bush Administration of falsifying information about weapons of mass destruction to justify their invasion of Iraq.
