ironman2 09 4 30 Leaked Iron Man 2 Promo Footage!

Iron Man 2 footage has been “leaked.” While at Comic-Con, director Jon Favreau premiered the first video of the upcoming Marvel sequel. Someone, somewhere put up the clip, and it’s not of the highest quality. I’m sure a lot of you are anxious to see it, but it doesn’t do the film justice at all. Watching a bootlegged copy of the trailer is not best way to be introduced to the awesomeness that is Iron Man 2. We understand why you want to see it, but it really is worth the wait.

***Update: We also have video of director Jon Favreau introducing the cast to the panel.

Well, Comic-Con is officially coming to an end. However, we still have lots of stuff for you to check out from this crazy weekend. The Iron Man 2 panel yesterday was in such high demand, and there were so many people that were shut out of Hall H at the convention center. They missed out on a pretty awesome trailer, but you can read about it in our first look and watch our sweded video that we made last night.

Anyways back to the point, we were able to get in and record the panel discussion and fan questions for you! The panel had a large portion of the cast, including Robert Downey Jr., Sam Rockwell, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, and the director, Jon Favreau. They talked about Mickey Rourke, the tone of the new film, how close they stayed to the stories, and answered other fan questions.

In case you are interested, you may want to check out our live blog from the Iron Man 2 panel, Jon Favreau talking about a possible Avengers movie, and our coverage from the other Robert Downey Jr. movie, Sherlock Holmes.

Can People Make Up Their Frickin’ Minds?!

rourkerockwell Can People Make Up Their Frickin Minds?!

What’s really going on? Recently all the major action films have been having some major issues with casting and its getting a bit ridiculous. The Iron Man sequel has been plagued with these issues since the day Terrence Howard was ousted for Don Cheadle. After that trade, Samuel L. Jackson said he wouldn’t be co-starring as Nick Fury in Iron Man 2 or The Avengers. As of late, I’ve been suckered into this casting ping pong game between Mickey Rourke  and Emily Blunt , and it’s just sickening. Will he portray a villain along with Sam Rockwell in Iron Man 2? We don’t know. I don’t think Marvel knows either.

emilyblunt09 1 14 Emily Blunt Conflicted About Iron Man Role

Emily Blunt may be a no go for Iron Man 2. It’s sad and it sucks, but thats the nature of the business. According to Superherohype, Blunt has been offered the role of the leather clad assassin Natasha “Black Widow” Romanoff, but is having some serious scheduling issues. The 25 year old actress is attached to star in the Jack Black vehicle Gulliver’s Travels, which coincidentally starts production around the same time as Iron Man.
