It’s been 11 years since the hobbit and wizard-filled cast of Lord of the Rings traveled down to New Zealand to film one of the greatest film trilogies of all time. Over at EW, they’re releasing a special reunion edition of the magazine, which features the original casts of some of the most influential and memorable films and TV shows of all time including Back to the Future and Scream. This is the stuff Halloween tales are made of! The IFC film I Sell the Dead, is a quirky and eerie story that has all the elements of Gothic folklore. It’s a period piece that mixes greed, murder, vampires, and zombies to create an old fashioned horror fest! When I say old fashioned, I literally mean old fashioned, the film takes place in the 19th century. It stars Dominic Monaghan (Lost, Lord of the Rings) and Ron Perlman (Hellboy) as two men on the opposite side of the law and the spirit world. Throw in a pending execution, and a bottle of whisky, and you’ve got I Sell the Dead!

New X-Men Origins:Wolverine photos are here, courtesy of Marvel.com. Over at the site they recently posted three more promo pics for the upcoming summer film, which include another image of Taylor Kitsch as Gambit. The other two photos are of Agent Zero (Daniel Henney), and William Stryker (Danny Huston). Even though I’m happy to see these guys get some well deserved exposure, I still have to beg the question. Where is Dominic Monaghan as Beak? What does this guy look like in the movie? Will we ever know? I’m still waiting Marvel, but until then I’ll have to quench my curiosity with these.

OK, I’m on to your marketing plan 20th Century Fox. Not only did the studio just release the final trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but they simultaneously decided to update it’s character gallery. Little by little, promo images have been released for the film and now six more can be added to the batch. Courtesy of USA Today, you can check out the new photos which include, Gambit, Deadpool, Sabretooth, Silver Fox, John Wraith, and of course Wolverine.
