From Angels In The Outfield to Zodiac – Durmot Mulroney is all over the map. Typically appearing in major supporting roles alongside some of the biggest names in the business, Mulroney is finally the leading man in IFC‘s upcoming thriller, Inhale. Playing the father of a child in desperate need of a double lung transplant, Mulroney tackles an impressive range of conflict. We were fortunate enough to sit down with the actor this week to discuss the picture and his upcoming projects.

I’m pleased to report that film junkies of all genres (rom-com excluded) will most likely find IFC‘s latest project, Inhale, quite appealing. Directed by Baltasar Kormakur and starring the always lovely Dermot Murloney, this picture has it all: suspense, action, moral dilemma, and a dreamy leading man. The film opens nationwide this weekend.

The Austin Film Society and Fantastic Fest have teamed up for a special screening of Quentin Tarantino’s film, Inglourious Basterds, starring Brad Pitt and Melanie Laurent. The screening will take place on August 15 at 9 PM at The Alamo Drafthouse Downtown. The screening will kick off Cinemapocalyse, a dusk-til dawn movie marathon. Inglourious Basterds will be followed by a double feature of repertory films programmed by Quentin Tarantino. The current line up isn’t available at the moment, and won’t be revealed until right before they hit the screen.

The second official trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds has just been released and it’s bloodier than ever! The film focuses on a group of Jewish-American soldiers under the command of Lt. Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt), who exact revenge on the Nazi regime during it’s occupation of WWII France. Basterds is written and directed by Tarantino, and is produced by the Weinstein Company.

Yes, women can be Basterds too. And Diane Kruger is probably one of the hottest Basterds around. As we know at this point, Quentin Tarantino is slowing feeding us Inglourious Basterds posters, one right after the other, showing us that yes, his entire cast are “basterds.”
