Legendary actor Dennis Hopper has been having a terrible few weeks. We previously reported on the actor when he was rushed to the hospital earlier this month suffering from what his publicist described as “flu-like” symptoms, and now more disturbing news has been released. According to Entertainment Tonight the legendary actor was transported to the hospital’s emergency room via ambulance for what was described as an undisclosed illness.

Dennis Hopper has made a purse commercial starring Gwyneth Paltrow…. What? I mean this is Dennis Hopper: Blue Velvet, Easy Rider, Apocalypse Now, and COUNTLESS others. And Gwyneth Paltrow, (not Hopper but still…) Infamous, The Royal Tenenbaums, Shakespeare in Love, hell she won an Oscar for that one! What is going on here?
The short film commercial is called Pashmy Dream. The “story” goes that Gwyneth Paltrow, who is playing herself, goes to meet up with a sexy journalist when she is attacked by the paparazzi and leaves her purse behind. I guess I should say leaves her Tod’s Pashmy bag behind. I mean hell, I’m guessing they paid enough for the ad I guess I should mention it. At least I hope they did.
Hopper says of the commercial: “Cinderella has her shoe. Gwyneth has her Tod’s Pashmy bag.”
