Star Danny McBride has always talked about Your Highness (which opens April 8)as his version of Krull or Yor, or any of the other weird fantasy films to emerge in the early 1980′s. It should then be no surprise that he’s written a tie-in comic book that functions as a prequel, which Dark Horse Publishing has released and offers an on-line preview.

We have a new photo from David Gordon Green’s upcoming comedy, Your Highness. It’s a period piece that somehow maintains all the gratuitous, slapstick comedy that you’d find in modern day features like Pineapple Express. HBO has released the official trailer for season two of their comedy series “Eastbound & Down.” The show will mark the return of Danny McBride and his alter ego Kenny Powers getting into a new batch of trouble thanks to a change in his location. When Steve Carell confirmed that he will be leaving NBC’s “The Office” at the end of this season, rumors started swirling as to who could replace him and his alter ego Michael Scott. Over at EW, they’ve learned exclusively of two actors who’ve made their way onto the casting shortlist. The network confirms that they are working hard to fill the void left by Carell, but we’re not sure if any of the actors they have in mind can do it.

After reportedly being offered everything from a buddy cop film to Mission Impossible 4, /Film reports that Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer is set to follow up his horror comedy success with 30 Minutes or Less. It’s another funny film that centers on “a slacker pizza delivery man facing an explosive ultimatum at the instruction of a pair of goons.” Sounds exciting, right?
