Last summer, fans of the Glenn Close led drama “Damages” got some great news. The show, which was removed from the FX schedule after season three, was given a second chance at life. Everyone including its stars thought the show was canceled after the network decided not to renew it for a fourth season, but DirecTV swooped in and saved the day. As we await its return the producers and writers are busy gathering new talent to make things a little more interesting. One of those new additions includes, Chris Messina who’s been cast as someone who has a direct connection to Rose Byrne’s Ellen Parsons.

The Glenn Close led drama “Damages” had been a critical success for the FX cable network but unfortunately it wasn’t bringing in the numbers. Last May while promoting Get Him to The Greek co-star Rose Byrne spoke about the show’s uncertain future and stated that DirecTV could become the series’ new home but nothing had been confirmed. Fast forward a couple months later and we’ve got an official deal for not one but two more seasons!

Australian actress Rose Byrne has been a regular on the critically acclaimed FX series “Damages” for the past three years but her stint as Ellen Parsons might be coming to an end. The actress recently spoke to us about the future of the show and whether or not she thinks the network will pick it up for another season. She also discussed her upcoming horror film Insidious that’s directed by fellow Australian James Wan who’s known for his work in the Saw series.
