Another Shrek, another chance to see your favorite animated characters and another chance to be reminded of the genius that was the first film, without this being the first film. The problem with this entire series is that it started with a bang, fell to a whimper, and with it’s grand finale is simply enough to make up for how much it’s lost without really ever wow-ing us. Shrek Forever After is a good movie, they were creative in finding a way to make the characters fresh again, and there were definitely enough laughs in it to leave me satisfied, BUT it wasn’t without a few problems. Over at Empire they’ve premiered the international teaser poster for Richard Kelly‘s upcoming thriller, The Box. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on November 9th in the U.S., and December 4th in the U.K. The Box stars Cameron Diaz, James Marsden, and Oscar nominee Frank Langella as the man without a face. Just kidding, that’s not his character’s name, even though it would be fitting.

The other day we brought you several photos from the the upcoming James Mangold project, Wichita. It’s an action comedy led by Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Production is currently underway for the film and according to Variety, another actor has been cast. If your familiar with Little Miss Sunshine or There Will Be Blood you should know where I’m going with this. Paul Dano has just signed on to star as a very peculiar character.
