In this world of Kardashians and Real Housewives, there’s something very refreshing about discovering someone with actual talent. It’s good to know that there’s still kids out there who don’t want to take the shortcut to fame and fortune, rather that they are willing to work hard and let their talents lead them to super stardom. After a long and tedious wait, 20th Century Fox has released the trailer for their comic adaptation, X-Men: First Class. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn, who was previously hired to helm X-Men: The Last Stand but had to back out for personal reasons. Five years after that travesty, he’s making it up to us by tackling the X-Men prequel, which focuses on the origins of the superhero team and their school. Check out the trailer…

The Last Exorcism is the latest in a long list of movies about demon possession. The film is backed by horror producer Eli Roth, who’s known for pushing the boundaries of good taste for the sake of entertainment. Unfortunately, this film doesn’t push any envelopes or break any barriers, it’s just here. It’s just another exorcism flick to throw in with the huge batch that already clutter Hollywood’s film library.

We just reported on speculation regarding Aaron Johnson’s involvement with X-Men First Class and now we’ve got two official casting announcements for the film. According to Variety, Nicholas Hoult (Clash of the Titans) and Caleb Landry Jones have just signed on to play Beast and Banshee respectively.

Recently there’s been a surge in X-Men First Class casting, which might have something to do with its production date that’s quickly approaching. So far director Matthew Vaughn has cast James McAvoy as Professor Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Benjamin Walker as Beast, and Alice Eve as Emma Frost.
