Babies Babies Documentary Breaking the Rules?

The film that follows four infants from around the world from birth until their first steps, Babies, has technically violated child labor laws. California law requires certain things such as infants need a doctor’s note and legal permits before they can be stars. They’re only allowed on camera for 20 minutes a day. They must be accompanied by both a nurse and studio teacher — both paid for by the producers. The babies also need to be at least 15 days old. California really protects the kids!

Iron Man 2 Movie Releases: Iron Man 2, Mother and Child, Babies

There is no doubt that this weeks big winner at the box office is going to be Jon Favreau’s action adventure film, Iron Man 2 starring Robert Downey Jr. The film is the follow up to the successful first installment where a billionaire inventor doubles as a armored superhero. If you would rather take the indie/Sundance film festival route this week, be sure to check out Mother and Child directed by Rodrigo García, starring, Annette Benning, Naomi Watts and Kerry Washington, all of whom are beautiful and talented actresses in their own right. Then there are two amazing documentaries Casino Jack and Babies.

The American movie image George Clooney  Focus Features Announces Release Dates

Several movies that were on the pending release slate for Focus Features have been given the go ahead. According to Variety, the fate of six films have been made public so we now know when to expect The Eagle of the Ninth, The American, Babies, Somewhere, Greenberg, and It’s Kind of a Funny Story.
