The Office Season 8 Episode 24 Free Family Portrait Studio – TV Review The Office: Season 8 Episode 24: Free Family Portrait Studio – TV Review

It’s not official, but it looks as if NBC will go with The Office for a ninth – and probably final – season. But there’s still the business of wrapping up season eight, which is best described as inconsistent. It’s always good to end on a high note. The Office did no such thing with “Free Family Portrait Studio”. There’s a few laughs and sweet moments, but still another mediocre episode from a mostly mediocre season. Even with all the negatives, the show deserves one last season to make it all okay.

The Office Season 8 Episode 20 Welcome Party – TV Review The Office: Season 8 Episode 20: Welcome Party – TV Review

After about a month on ice, “The Office” returns to the NBC line-up with an Ed Helms-directed episode that delivers plenty of laughs. With the fate of the series still unknown, the first-rate “Welcome Party” begins the season eight home stretch of five, all-new episodes, which could be the once loved/still loved show’s last.

The Office Season 8 Episode 15 Tallahassee %E2%80%93 TV Review The Office: Season 8 Episode 15: Tallahassee – TV Review

The Office” heads south to Florida as Dwight and his hand-picked office team prepare for their special project in Tallahassee. The return of Todd Packer and the sassy Nellie Bertam, last seen trying to score Michael Scott’s old job, provide a nice, comedic spark to an already funny episode. “Tallahassee” keeps the momentum going from last week’s equally strong episode.

The Office Season 8 Episode 13 Jury Duty %E2%80%93 TV Review The Office: Season 8 Episode 13: Jury Duty – TV Review

A smattering of laughs and a Dwight-Angela plot twist highlight a rather uneven episode of “The Office“. Not even the brief return of cute and loveable Pam could jazz things up Thursday night. Nice work from some of the cast aside, “Jury Duty” failed to keep the momentum going from the previous episode.

quentintarantinokj09 08 25 Quentin Tarantinos Inglourious Basterds Interview

We have done some thorough interviews with the actors from the latest epic war film, Inglourious Basterds, but the series really isn’t complete without talking to the man behind the film, Quentin Tarantino. If you haven’t had a chance, take a look at our interviews with B.J. Novak, Michael Fassbender, Eli Roth, Diane Kruger, Melanie Laurent, and Christoph Waltz.

When we spoke to the self proclaimed cinephile, Tarantino revealed how he came up with the idea for the film, his favorite characters, and the lackluster reviews the movie received at Cannes.

Check out what he had to say in our interview below…

bj novak09 8 10 Interview: B.J. Novak for Inglourious Basterds

This week we’ll be getting swarmed with Basterds. B.J. Novak kicks off our series of Inglourious Basterds interviews, which will include Michael Fassbender, Eli Roth (watch videos), Mélanie Laurent, Christoph Waltz, Diane Kruger, and the big man himself Quentin Tarantino.

As we all know, there are no small parts in a Tarantino film, there are however small actors. In the film Novak plays Pfc. Smithson Utivich, also known as “The Little Man” who is one of the eight deadly soldiers on a mission to take down the Nazis lead by Lt. Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt).

Novak may be known for his subtle humor from “The Office,” but he was more than thrilled to be given the chance to work with his idol Tarantino and get his hands bloody (something he never saw himself doing) on set.

ingloriousbasterds09 2 20 New Inglourious Basterds Posters

The promotional team behind Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Nazi epic, Inglourious Basterds just stepped up their marketing game in my book. Three new posters have been released for the film and boy do they look good! Each image reads, “Once Upon a Time in Nazi Occupied France.” Nice tag-line to accompany such gritty images. Each poster features a blood soaked weapon of choice, including a rifle, a bat, and a knife. An awesome teaser trailer was released last week, and now we have these posters as a nice follow up. Inglourious Basterds stars stars Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Eli Roth, and B.J. Novak.

Inglourious Basterds is written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, and the film debuts in theaters on August 21 of this year.
