Anne Hathaway appeared yesterday on The Today Show and discussed the brutally bad reviews that she and James Franco received as hosts of the worst Oscars ever in the whole world ever times infinity plus one: “They said we were the worst show ever,” the actress told host Matt Lauer. “I think that qualifies as tough.”
Actress and recent Oscar host Anne Hathaway has redeemed herself in the eyes of humanity (seriously, that Oscar gig was… not good) by signing a letter to President Obama endorsing same-sex marriage.
The letter, posted to Obama last Monday, was also signed by Ellen Degeneres, Jane Lynch, Martin Sheen, and Portia De Rossi.
In January Warner Bros and director Christopher Nolan announced to the world that Anne Hathaway had been cast in The Dark Knight Rises. In the official press release it stated that she would play Selina Kyle, and everyone knows that Kyle is the alter ego of one of the greatest Batman villains/lovers of all time — Catwoman.

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards were hard to watch. Not because of their predictable winners but because of their horrible hosts. Last year we had some issues with Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin’s one-two punch but this year has them beat. When we first heard that James Franco and Anne Hathaway were going to host the show we were worried. Very worried. And with good reason. They’re not professional comedians and they don’t have professional hosting experience and it showed! It made for a very awkward evening to say the least. According to Warner Bros, Anne Hathaway has officially been cast in the film and she’ll play none other than Selina Kyle aka Catwoman! But the good news doesn’t stop there. Over the past few weeks there have been rumors stating that Oscar nominee Anne Hathaway might be joining the cast of “Glee.” Not as a regular but as a guest star.
