Over the past month, we’ve been hearing a lot about Angelina Jolie and her untitled directorial debut. The film is set during the Bosnian War and was supposed to be shot on location in the country but thanks to some outlandish rumors, Jolie had to shorten her time there. The film centers on a love story between a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman, but some thought it was about a rape victim who falls in love with her attacker, which had the people of Bosnia up and arms. Finally, an actress we can believe in this part! If you have no idea what we’re talking about, let us get you up to speed. Director Alfonso Cuaron and his son penned the screenplay for a sci-fi film called Gravity, which was supposed to be a star vehicle for Angelina Jolie. The production hit a snag when the actress passed not once but twice on the film leaving it without a female lead. Weeks ago there were rumors that Scarlett Johannson and Blake Lively were possible replacements, but according to THR, a suitable and talented actress might take over instead — Natalie Portman.
