After heavy media attention and a whirlwind production, David Fincher’s latest film The Social Network is hitting theaters. The film is based on the book “The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal” that follows company founder Mark Zuckerberg from his humble beginnings as an anti-social Harvard student to becoming the youngest billionaire in the country. With that being said, you don’t get that much success, that quickly, without stepping on a few toes along the way.

A couple months ago it was announced that Andrew Garfield would take over the role of the webslinger from Tobey Maguire in Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man reboot. After weeks of speculation and false reports the new Peter Parker aka Spider-Man has been cast. According to a press release sent out by Sony Pictures, British actor Andrew Garfield can officially add webslinger to his resume. Garfield is a talented actor and has appeared in several films including The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and David Fincher’s upcoming Facebook movie, The Social Network. His casting isn’t necessarily a bad thing but I thought they were going for a younger Parker?

The feature is an adaptation of Ben Mezrich’s book The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal. The upcoming book adaptation, The Social Network may have landed a few good men. This morning, rumors began circulating that the David Fincher film had found three young actors to star as its leads. Over at ScriptShadow, (a Facebook page itself), they’re reporting that Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, and Justin Timberlake have all signed on to the project.
