Two sneak peaks of the upcoming science fiction films Dredd (that’s the Judge Dredd reboot) and the new Riddick sequel (starring Vin Diesel) were released in the form of new promo photos this week. It’s something of a treat for fans of sci-fi dystopias featuring brooding and musclebound anti-heros, man-hating prostitutes of the future, and highly unnecessary reboots and sequels.

Between the megahype concerning The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and Prometheus, you may have forgotten that a certain wall-crawler is getting a reboot this summer. As such, Sony is planning on releasing a new trailer today for the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man reboot just to remind fans that it exists. And as we count down to the new trailer’s premiere, Sony has offered up the first official pictures of the film’s villain, The Lizard.
