Jason Momoa isn’t fooling anyone anymore. For some time the Game of Thrones actor denied that he was involved in Zack Snyder‘s Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, but new reports confirm that Momoa will play Aquaman in the upcoming movie.
Rumors that Momoa would play the king of Atlantic has previously circulated, but the actor would try to deny them every time. Warner Bros. hasn’t made an official announcement yet, and Momoa’s reps have yet to make a statement, but HitFix confirms that he is Aquaman.
The site also reports that Snyder has finished designing the character, which means that shooting with him can begin soon. However, Aquaman will not have a major role in movie, but will make an appearance. The film will set him up to return with a much larger role in Justice League.
The site writes that Aquaman is someone who is not particularly happy with the events that happened in Man of Steel.
“…What we’re hearing is that [Aquaman] is not pleased about the World Engine and what it did to the Indian Ocean.”
Momoa seems like a great choice for Aquaman; he fits the bill physically, anyway. Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in theaters May 6, 2016.
Do you think Momoa will make a good Aquaman?
