So far, all the marketing for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has been very, well, Sin City-ish. A slew of black, white, and red imagery, tinged with occasional skin hues and yellows, packed tight with ultraviolence, and slicked with a sheen of grimy sexuality and noir. And hey, why not—it worked for the first film. So it should come as no surprise that the just-released character posters for the film look exactly like what you’d expect them to.
It’s not exactly a bad thing, assuming you dug the original when it came out nearly 10 years ago. That said, the franchise’s aesthetic doesn’t seem to have evolved much in the intervening decade. Check ‘em out:
