X-Men: Days of Future Past has already kicked its marketing into high gear, with its trailers attached to seemingly every single film we’ve gone to see at a multiplex for months. There was even a ridiculous Carl’s Jr. X-Men commercial. But still, just in case you forgot that X-Men: Days of Future Past existed, here’s yet another trailer to remind you.
But hey this marketing blitz is nowhere near as desperate or smothering as that of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and it helps that the trailer is kind of incredible, and features tons of new footage. In it, we see Wolverine of the future travelling back to the past and recruiting a team of X-Men members from the 1970s. And sentinels. Lots and lots of sentinels. Check it out:
The trailer also lets us see more of Quicksilver in action, and yep, he looks just as terrible here as he has in the other promo materials. Just terrible.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for a May 23, 2014 release date.
