Judy Greer is someone who’s been kicking around Hollywood for over a decade, appearing in films like Adaptation. and Three Kings and television shows like Arrested Development and Archer, so she’s definitely someone you’d recognize off the bat. But now it looks like she’s about to take her career to a whole new level as she’s joining the cast of Jurassic World.

The Hollywood Reporter broke that Greer, along with Katie McGrath and Lauren Lapkus, have been added to the cast of the third Jurassic Park sequel. McGrath is probably best known for appearing on NBC’s Dracula as Lucy and in Merlin as Morgana, while Lapkus is an up and comer who’s coming off a run on Orange is the New Black. They’ll be joining Bryce Dallas Howard (as a park scientist), Chris Pratt (as a cowboy-ish dino wrangler), Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio and BD Wong.

But this seems like Greer’s moment, at least depending on the role. She’ll be in this summer’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and will also appear opposite George Clooney in Brad Bird‘s Tomorrowland. Perhaps it’s that Greer is nearing forty but still looks good, so –with so many leading men in Hollywood older than forty — it makes sense that she’s up for age appropriate-ish roles. Or it could be that she’s wickedly talented and a great comedienne to boot. Either or. Jurassic World is scheduled to hit theaters June 12, 2015.
