Dan Harmon, who is best known as the creator of NBC’s amazing comedy series Community, is a fascinating person with a very strong fan base. Thanks to a Nerdist-produced documentary titled Harmontown, his fans will now be able to find out more about his genius. We have the SXSW trailer for the doc below.   • Idris Elba Cast As Shere Khan: Idris Elba has been cast to voice Shere Khan in Jon Favreau‘s live action/CG hybrid The Jungle Book. Elba’s character is the life-long enemy of Mowgli, the “man cub” orphaned boy who is raised by jungle animals. SOURCE: THR


  • Harmontown Trailer: Harmontown will premiere at SXSW on Saturday March 8. In the trailer, a bunch of famous people, like Joel McHale and Sarah Silverman, show up praising Harmon, but there’s also a fair share of harsh critics. It’s all good fun though. Check it out:

  • Teaser Poster For Annie: Directed by Will Gluck, Annie stars Quvenzhané Wallis, Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale. The Broadway musical “Annie” was based upon the popular comic strip and radio show, “Little Orphan Annie” and features songs with music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin and a book by Thomas Meehan.   • New Photos For Veronica Mars: The official poster for Veronica Mars has hit the web. In the film, directed by Rob Thomas, Veronica Mars returns home — just in time for her high school reunion — in order to help her old flame Logan Echolls, who has been accused of murdering his girlfriend. The movie hits theaters March 14.
