Sandwiched in between the film’s Super Bowl teaser and tomorrow’s full trailer, comes today’s teaser-for-the-trailer for the upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction, the film in which the Transformers ride goddamn dinosaurs. Which is pretty much all you need to know, right? The Transformers ride goddamn dinosaurs.
The film is directed by Michael Bay, which isn’t as terrifying a fact as it used to be—Bay surprised us with the fun Pain and Gain, and this newest entry in the Transformers franchise is thankfully Shia Labeouf-free. And, again there are robots and explosions and dinosaurs and things. So it’s something to stare at for 2.5 loud and numbing hours in a movie theater while eating a lot of candy. So check it out, with footage courtesy of very, very excited Entertainment Tonight:
Transformers: Age of Extinction was directed by Michael Bay and is set for a June 27, 2014 release date. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, and Stanley Tucci. Oh, and did we mention that there are giant punching robots that transform into cars and trucks and then ride dinosaurs?
