Marvel fans are still drooling over the footage they’ve seen so far for Guardians of the Galaxy, but there’s another property that they should be getting excited for, and that’s Doctor Strange. There’s been some rumors fluttering around about who could star as the mystical Marvel character, but right now the company is more concerned about finding the right director before they set their hearts on the perfect lead actor.
There’s a list of potential directors who could get their hands on Doctor Strange, and they’re nothing short of interesting. Those rumored to be the possible director include Jonathan Levine (50/50), Mark Andrews (Brave), Nikolaj Arcel (A Royal Affair) and Dean Israelite (Welcome To Yesterday). We’re not entirely sure which one of these four is the frontrunner to take on the picture, but either way it’s a cool cast of potential directors. Each one of them has delivered some quality storytelling and directing to cinemas, so to have any of them get their hands on this particular Marvel proper would be thrilling to see.
What about the script? While Marvel does have a script on their hands for Doctor Strange, it sounds like they haven’t perfected it as of yet. Apparently Kung Fu Panda writers Glenn Berger and Jon Aibel are doing rewrites on the script, which is a little bit of an odd choice for some people. Either way, I just hope that this movie works.
Which of these directors do you want to see take on Doctor Strange?
