From the looks of it, The Raid 2: Berandal is going to be one hell of a violent ride. The Indonesian trailer for the sequel has hit the web, and it’s everything you hoped for and more. Check it out below.

In The Raid 2, the main character has to come to terms with what what went down in the apartment complex in the original film. There are new crime bosses now, and just all kinds of different drama. Our hero has to go to prison to get connected undercover, but soon finds himself involved in crazier situations.
The film will premiere at Sundance next month.

This latest International trailer is pretty great. It’s starts slow, with a lot of quiet dialogue here and there, but soon the music gets intense and the violence, action, glass-shattering, gun fights, car chases, you name it, just start pouring in. It’s awesome. Check it out:

The film will hit US theaters on March 28th, but it’ll make it’s world premiere at Sundace Film Festival next month – The Raid: Redemption also played at Sundance in 2012, but it had its world premiere at TIFF. Gareth Evans returns as director, with a cast that includes Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian, Arifin Putra, Oka Antara, Tio Pakusadewo, and Alex Abbad.
